TVH, A&P repair, etc...
Hi-
I am 42 and scheduled for surgery Jan 25 for a TVH and lots of prolapsed repair work. I have 3 kids (7, 4, and 2 1/2) and am anxious for all the same reasons everyone else is...pain, potential problems, being tired and not able to do what I normally do as a mom, etc...
I am curious about healing foods and any other insight.
I feel almost obsessed about trying to prepare as much as possible.
I am distracting myself pre surgery by planning a big ladies night the weekend before out that is being called "Uteruckus"...dinner, band, hotel and then spa day with some girlfriends to honor this life passage.
Trying to remain in a positive, optimistic emotional space...any tips?
