Thank you all so much for your best wishes and prayers. In England we have to call the ward the day of surgery to make sure there is a bed for us! I do so hope my surgery isn't postponed. I am very nervous but can't wait for it to be over and begin the journey to recovery. This site has been a constant source of comfort and information to me.

Called the ward this morning and it's looking good for surgery this afternoon. Gulp! The day has finally arrived. Off to the Castle in 2 hours....thanks for your continued prayers and support. Will be in touch when I'm out the other side.
