TLH: Upcoming hysterectomy on 4/20 - feeling weirdly guilty?

Oh my goodness, isn’t it always nice to know you aren’t alone!
I’ve been through this guilt - and it has been harder because I’ve been on the Grnh injections for 6 months now due to COVID delaying my operation, which has made me feel loads better. Also, my Aunt was waiting for a cancer operation and it made my problems seem insignificant. It felt like a First World issue - oh I have a bit of discomfort, let’s just whip it out..
The reality is that most of us on here can go on to have vastly improved lives. Depending on what you believe, we only have one life on this Earth so why wouldn’t you make the most of it? Also, there is a potential risk that our little friends get bigger and impact on other organs, or a cyst bursts and that would be far worse. Let’s get through this short period of healing and get on with enjoying life
