Could this pain be from my kidney stone I had a small one about a month ago. But pain is on both sides as well my belley pain i have been having. Sharp pains on right side in front. Spine hurts, I even took a flexiril and nothing, with percocet. And naproxen before I took any narcotics.NO fever.I am a bit constipated????/

Re: Confused...notdoing good

Sweetheart, please call your doctor. If you can't reach your doctor, do go to the ER.

You shouldn't be experiencing this much unexplained pain when you are on Percocet.

Re: Confused...notdoing good

Go to the ER and have them do a cat scan and they should be abe to figure out what is going on. I felt great in the beginning and was off all my meds and then 2 weeks post op started feeling really crummy. After 2 ER trips and being admitted into the hospital, I had a second sugery 3 weeks post op. They had to repair my vaginal cuff and I was bleeding heavily from a hematoma. At first I thought I was just being paranoid since I could not really pin point exactly what I was experiencing. But I decided I'd rather be safe than sorry. Now I am glad I did since it turned out that I needed another surgery. I am having a lot of crampy type pain since my new surgery 5 days ago, but overall I am doing better because I have not had any more bleeding issues and all the symptoms I was having are gone now. I am sure that the pain I am having now is just from all the probing and poking and stitching I just had done as opposed to the pain I had before that came on suddenly and continued to get worse until I had it fixed.

Good luck and get yourself to the ER!!

Re: Confused...notdoing good

Im afraid to go er, I dont want them thinking i am just there for pain. I hate that.
Do you think I could tear my cuff eleven weeks out?

Re: Confused...notdoing good

I honestly have no idea how long it takes for the cuff to completely heal. But I think you should forget about what anyone else thinks about why you are going to the ER and do it for yourself just in case there is an issue that needs urgent attention. Otherwise see if you can get to your doc ASAP. I always hear stories about women who have pain many years later because of things that went wrong in the early weeks and months. Your doc can do an ultrasound to check things out, but the ER can make you drink some yummy juice and do a contrast cat scan so they can see better. Just kidding about the juice being yummy

You have to make your own choice, but I think that if you are in doubt, you should err on the side of caution.

Re: Confused...notdoing good

Your cuff isn't up near the belly button. It's down low, right at the top of the vagina. You need to go the the ER. Until a doctor checks you, you won't know what is causing your pain. Please go to the ER and let us know what the doctor says.

Re: Confused...notdoing good

Ok ladies, I have survived weekend, medicated up big time. I wanted to try to avoid er, and go in today. Well, I find out both docs, general and gyn are out of town and no one to see me. SO I am going to er in a few hours here and will update you.
Yes I am still having the pain.

Re: Confused...notdoing good

I hope they easily determine the source of your pain and it's easily treatable!

Re: Confused...notdoing good

Ok, went to er....he thought I coulda had infection in spine from epidural but did an mri and cat scan. Said no infection. I do still have kindey stone but that couldnt be causing as much pain as I was in.
He did not do a pelvic exam or ultrasound and said no point since we did cat scan.
He said spine hurt up high from maybe my fall on ice few weeks back I coulda sprained back. And rest of pain in belley and all he said is from endometriosis. UG>

I dont know what to do now. Not only is my endo still here, and I can tell it is ....It is getting progressing worse. It has been progressing the last year as far as painl...and still is. How can I work when I am litterally in pain that bad everyday or most the time and on pain meds. ?
This is very tiring.
I also got told to rest for back and all.
