Blood in BM

I am 3 days post op finally had BM last night...actually felt sick, ended up with diarrhea by 3rd time to bathroom. Was very bloated from eatting when I did not want to...but had to eat something! No appetite. This am had afew bites of toast and egg. Just went to bathroom thought bad gas...and had little diarrhea...but had blood in it! Should I call dr? Is this normal...doesnt sound normal but thought I would check w you guys first before I get hysterical! Have had pretty good recovery so far have not done anything but lay around and walk in my house. Thanks for helping!

I think it would be best to call the Dr. It could be from irritation from several BM's in a row or just normal post op bleeding mixed in, but I believe better safe then sorry. Hoping its nothing! Keep us updated. Hugs

I called dr. Dr on call said if I was nauseous, fever chills he would tell me to go to hospital for blood work. If more blood tonight I have to call him and go for blood work. He said it could be from anti biotics...I think it could be from ibuprofin with not enoug food? Heres hoping! Thanks for your help!
