Deep hole in incision at 6 weeks

I am six weeks post-op from a TAH. I had complications...lost a liter of blood, was readmitted to hospital from severe dehydration and partial bowel obstruction. I went for my six-week post op appt yesterday. I had a small hole in my incision that was leaking a tiny bit of clear liquid and blood. Doctor said it was fine. Tonight when I looked at it, the hole is a little bigger, but a lot deeper. I can actually see down inside it. I think I can actually see a white fat cell! I'm supposed to be returning to work Monday (first grade teacher).

Do I need to see someone this weekend? Is this cause for concern? Is this something that would cause me to NOT go back to work yet? I don't want to make it worse...

Please help!!!!

I would make a call to the doc on call and see what (s)he says to do.

Hi,lm 6 weeks as well l have a hole on my.left dide,doc ssid itd oksy,lts oozing like a puss,not worried,doc ssid its well sewn inside,glad the puss is coming out instead of staying in there,it did close but ,noe is open because of puss ,they do know what there doing the docs ,they have done this procedure a few timed before,l had a tummy tuck at same time and not worried,my sister did have some problem and they nicked her n
Bowell,she was in hospital 4 timed 5 dsys at a time,to fix her problem, she ssys she still has a hole!?
