Any advice welcome about ethicon mesh protruding into vagina

I had a repair of rectocele, cystocele and also hysterectomy in 2014. I am experiencing pelvic pain associated with mesh protrusion in my vagina. I have an appointment in 2 weeks with a urogynocologist. If anyone has experienced this...I would so appreciate any input.

I had that happen way back in 2005 with another brand of mesh. My advice is to have it all removed by a urogyn who has removed mesh from many women. Do not agree to a piece by piece approach. That can make your situation much worse. Many women have been subjected to this and its eroded again and again. If you do a search on this forum, women have traveled to UCLA to go to a specialist who removes all of the mesh, even the arms, which other doctors (including mine) won't do. This doctor has a long waiting list, so that might not be an option for you. I had mine removed by a doctor who works at the Mayo Clinic. . There are other doctors across the country who know how to remove mesh. . Good luck!
