Love Actually

Just saw this on the weekend - dvd - have no idea when it "actually" came out, but it was good entertainment.

A great mixture of "feel good" stuff, as well as bittersweet moments.

about 9 sets of couples at various stages of their relationships - and what a cast!!

Liam Neelson, Hugh Grant, Billy Bob Thompson, Emma Thomson, Laura Linney, Alan Rickman, Rowan Atkinson, ... and a few more!!

A very enjoyable film! (not for youngsters as there is a bit of swearing (the "f" word a few times) and a bit of nudity )

Love Actually

Saw this movie last night and I too found it very entertaining. It got just a little syrupy and far fetched at the end but all in all in was a lot of fun. And yes, sweet AND bittersweet! BTW, what was up with Laura Linney's character? (I forget her name in the movie). Did she blow it or what??!! LOL

Love Actually

Saw this the other night on play for pay.

Except for the gratuitous mention of 9-11 in the beginning (I felt uncomfortable of it being turned into a cliche) I really liked the movie.

The part with the little fellow at the airport was totally unrealistic, but what the heck its a movie! Enjoy!

Love Actually

I loved this movie as well. I especially enjoyed the developing relationship between Colin Firth (the writer) and his Portuguese love interest (personal assistant/house keeper?). I found that story very charming.

I also really enjoyed the performances by Emma Thompson, and Liam Neeson. Rowan Atkinson is always a joy to watch as well.
Oh, and whoever the fellow was who portrayed the aging rock star- he was a hoot! Great film, with a great soundtrack.

s, Aurora
