What are the Best Movies You've Ever Seen- Why?

In no particular order (doesn't that sound familiar? )

My Girl (cry everytime I see this one)

Steel Magnolias (cry for this one too. Don't know too many south Louisiana girls who don't love this movie)

The Green Mile

A Knight's Tale (Heath Leger, yummy!)

The Crow ( I love Brandon Lee)

Xanadu (fav from my childhood)

Legends of the Fall (Brad Pitt in this movie, need I say more?)

Shawshank Redemption

and I can't forget...

Pretty Woman!!! (yes, I think this one is my favorite!)

Jaws. Never, ever turn it off when it's off TV.

Dead Poet's Society (I'm an English teacher.)

A Charlie Brown Christmas. ("And that's what Christmas is all about, Charlie Brown.")

Dr. Strangelove, or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love The Bomb. (Peter Sellers--great in half a dozen roles!)

Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. (Harrison Ford as Junior and Sean Connery as Dad? It gets no better!)

The Way We Were. (Hate Steisand but love Redford and the story is a weeper!)

The Paper Chase.

Meet Joe Black (mmm....love that peanut butter)

A Walton's Christmas Story. (John-boy rocks!)

Oooh, I wanna play! Here's mine in no order:

Casablanca- Bogie was never better

Gone With the Wind- although I loved the book better, Clark Gable will always be Rhett Butler

One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest- the first movie my DH and I saw

Gladiator- starring my "movie boyfriend" Russell Crowe (and yes, I have TV boyfriends, too!)

Interview With the Vampire (Brad Pitt, Antonio Banderas, and Tom Cruise and vampires!)

The X Files- my all-time favorite TV show, and even though they'll probably never make the sequel, at least I have the first movie!

Raiders of the Lost Ark- I always wanted to be an archeologist

Bram Stoker's Dracula- more vampires!

Pulp Fiction- very quirky; you either love it or hate it

What are the Best Movies You've Ever Seen- Why?

I think I like almost every movie that was mentioned. I am a huge movie buff. (We have about 600 titles.)
Anyway the movie that will be my most favorites of all time are:

1. Clash of the Titans
2. Steel Magnolias

I will watch these movies repeatedly and never get sick of them.

What are the Best Movies You've Ever Seen- Why?

I totally fell in love with A walk in the clouds.... esp the part with them fanning the grapes....

All Charlie Brown movies... what's not to love???

The western where Ahnold (you know who I mean!) plays a cowboy called Handsome Stranger... the name escapes me but man is it funny.

Driving Miss Daisy... not sure why but I would rent that in a heartbeat....

I really liked Michael with John Travolta too...
But my all time fav???

Dirty Dancing....... the "last dance" and the song they played in the credits.....
