What odd or quirky behavior do your pets have?

My 5 1/2 year old Doberman/begale mix Dakota likes to grab a big bite of food & run to were ever DH & I are in the house spit all the food up & then eat a peice one by one & then will run back to the dish & do the same thing over & over until she is full. It's like she does not want to miss anything. Also she has a habbit of only eating when we eat, she has food in her dish all the time.

She also likes to throw her bones around the house she will put it in her mouth & just fling it.

She has this thing with bones too they have to be a certian size & shape or she will put it in her mouth & walk around the house crying. When it comes to dog bisquets or pig ears we have to break them before she will eat them.

Just of few of her weirod actions.

We buy those rawhide bones for Billy occasionally. He likes the ones with the knots on either end. He chews and chews until the knots are off, and then, that's it! he doesn't want to know.
Weird aren't they??

Our lab/golden mix loves it when I stretch her arms for her...she lays on her back and I gently pull up on her arms...she usually gives her back legs a good stretch at the same time and a silly little groan 'cuz it feels so good! ha ha!

I have 2 dogs that think they are cats...LOL
We have a 3yr old lab/beagle mix (good sized dog) who likes to jump up on my recliner and lay down on the back of it and go to sleep and sometimes she will lick her paws and wash her face..hehe
Then in July we adopted a beagle (girl) who purrs...yes I said purr! It is so weird...when she is happy and getting rubbed she makes this sound like a cat does....We couldnt' believe it when we brought her home and she also thinks she is a cat...LOL

ROFL !!!!!... I can't take it!.......You're killing me!!!!...

Here's two more for you. WARNING!!..most big dogs freak if you do this... Chewy, a 125 lb. Mackenzie River Husky, when we go to the lake (if there's water he's in it!) just loves it when me and DH grab him by his hind and front legs, swing him repeatedly to and fro! The big finale is when we count down 3...2...1...and RELEASE him to the great SPLAAASH!!! into the lake!..this is his greatest joy!....really...A bigger smile you will never see than is on this dog's face!

Mystic, a georgeous Himylayan, just loves shopping bags! He patiently waits for us to put the grocieries away. PRE-SENT... (don't remember how I figured this out) SHOPPING BAG!!!... He crawls into the bag. Hold it up by the handles, spin him up tight, let him unwind (repeatedly). Let him settle, then hang him on a door knob to nap for an hour or so....He just loves it!!!...go figure!???: Some fun eh!

I have a cockatiel (Eli) who likes to bark like a dog and meow like a cat. He's also got a bad habit of trying to teal CDs off my desk - he likes to look at himself in the shiny side.

Now, that's just too cute! A bird with an ego.

One of my cats loves potato chips and the green tops from fresh strawberries.
