Re: What are you looking forward to post-op?

You ladies have already covered most of the things I'm looking forward to post surgery.

I am also looking forward to getting back into my water aerobics classes at the Y.Flo has been so frequent and unpredictable for the past year that I haven't taken any chances going in the pool.

Re: What are you looking forward to post-op?

Looking forward to seeing my blood counts going up instead of down. Just got the pre-op blood tests and my blood counts are worse. I must be getting used to being anemic since I'm feeling better.

can't wait to be able to play more with my Kiddo.

Re: What are you looking forward to post-op?

Went to IKEA yesterday and was reminded of another thing that I'm looking forward to.

A new bed and mattress! My old one is over 20 years old and has been through 2 husbands, a baby (now 8 1/2 yr old) and all the gushing I've been subject to for years. I visit my new one every time I go to IKEA.

Re: What are you looking forward to post-op?

I'm thinking I'm like a virgin (please no singing) again. I don't have anyone in my life right now but it will be a very different experience when I do have sex again. The last few times were so painful it wasn't worth it esp. with the lazy lover I had.

Re: What are you looking forward to post-op?

You totally just made me sing that song...now it will be in my head all day LOL Me too, I hear ya, been so long since I have had intercourse, I am not sure I remember what to do hehe...same thing, too painful. Don't have anyone in my life right now either but reason being because why bother when I can't so been on hold...my love life hasn't existed forever, but am looking forward to that part changing after. I have a BIG sexual appetite but not with all these issues going on. I couldn't even imagine intercourse at the moment..impossible. I hope you get someone in your life after you recover and have all your needs taken care of...we all deserve that after we are well
