Re: What are you looking forward to post-op?

I am looking forward to:

*NO MORE PAIN !!!!!!!!
*sex, sex, and more sex with no pain (hubby has been so patient)
*not wearing 2 pads
*wearing jeans again ~ no more sweatpants/pajama pants
*no more having strangers ask me when I'm due
*being able to exercise
*playing with my kids
*going swimming
*no more pain meds that don't work (although dr put me on one that is finally working, but that doesn't mean I want it)
*no more periods or "spotting" that lasts forever
*sleeping in my bed instead of the recliner so I can get up and to the bathroom with minimal gushing
*no more passing massive clots that feel like I just gave birth
*no more massive amts of iron pills
*no more huge glasses of ice water just so I can chew on the ice because of low iron

sorry didn't mean to start a whole journal. Most of all I'll just be happy to finally have my life back.

Re: What are you looking forward to post-op?

Oh I love this.
I can't wait for:

- no more living on ibuprofen (it's not actually a food group, I hear)
-no more CONSTANTLY needing a pad "in case" cause it could start at any time, any day of the month.
-no more purposely buying crappy underwear cause I know it'a got a good chance of being ruined. Buying myself some PRETTIES post-op!
- more energy!
-no more cervical problems!
- no more cervical surgeries!!
- wearing white!
- swimming- thank you to the lovely who reminded me of this one!
- getting to rest. I so need to sleep and to rest. Because it is a mostly hidden thing, I haven't gotten a lot of support/ help with the "I'm so exhausted all the time. I need to rest" thing. I can't wait for post-op when it will be encouraged.
-my birthday is a few days post-op. Can't wait to play princess and watch movies and have people bring me things.
