Smile - Anyone have younger children? Babes

Hello I too am a newbie! Just found out that the answer to my 4 months of non stop bleeding is due to endomyosis (I think that's how it is spelled) and cysts in uterine muscles! OWW! Waiting for my second opinion on May 9, but have been assured by my specialist that I will need a vag. hyst. by June or sooner! I turn 30 tomarrow and have 4 children. 1 girl (10) and 3 boys (7, 3 1/2 & almost 2)! It's comforting to see that I am not the only younger person going threw this. I feel so alone right now because I really don't have alot of friends a) cause I recently moved, b) the ones I had don't agree w/ my recent divorce and c) they don't get my devotion to my kids!! Too bad for them!

Anyone have younger children?

Hi all! I'm a divorced single mom with two kids - dd 13 and ds 9. Fortunately my ex and I are civil, so he has been very good about changing his work schedule to accommodate my surgery next week (kids live with me during the week). I'm so fortunate that my dd sort of understands what's going to be done to me and she is very willing to help out. My ds, however...typical boy I guess!

Anyone have younger children?

I am 30 and I have 8 children: 12, 11, 9, 9, 7, 6, 4, & 2. I homeschool so 7 of them are at home 24/7. My 4yo is the only one that goes to school; he goes to special-ed preschool 1/2 day, 5 days a week. I thought it would be a good thing that they are home because they are usually pretty good at helping. Well, I was WRONG!!! They are at their worst and driving me crazy! It's nice when my dh is home but unfortunately he is only here limitedly.

Sorry, whine-fest. Clearly I'm having a hormonal night.

Smile - Anyone have younger children? Anyone have younger children?

I'm 34 and have one DS, 5 mos old. My difficult pregnancy and his premature birth contributed to my needing a hyst. But whenever I'm feeling down, I just look at that cute face and it keeps me going. Oh no, I hear him crying. Lately he is on this "no nap" kick and it's driving me crazy. I like just having a couple minutes to myself so I can talk to my hystersisters. Ugh. Maybe he'll go back to sleep. Good Lord, I admire those moms out there with large families. I don't know how you do it. There are days I don't even get to shower until the DH comes home. OK, my DS is giving out the two minute warning yell (I have two minutes to come get him until he starts throwing a complete fit). Have a great day!
