How old is everyone?

I am 39 having a tah/bso due to endo, cyst, adhesion, uterin, bladder, and rectum prolase. I to thought all was well untill about a year ago I started having constant abdominal pain and they thought IC until I went for 2nd opnion. I am glad I did too I would much rather have my issues taken care of instead of going the rest of my live living with IC.

How old is everyone?

I'm 29 today, have suffered from endo (hindsight) since I was 13 and have had treatment off and on for the past 12 years. My hyst isn't scheduled but it's looking like maybe in October. Was told I probably would never have children at age 17. Doctor was wrong-for a while anyway. I have a prolapsed uterus and bladder.

God bless all of you fine ladies!!

How old is everyone?

Hi,
I am 43 and had my TAH/BSO 2 days before my birthday 260805. I have suffered from Endometriosis for the last 10 years but always had bad periods when I was younger.
My surgeon tried to save my Ovaries but they were too damaged, the right one had a huge Cyst and the left he found cemented to the back wall of my abdomen behind my Uterus when he took it out!!!
I had recently been having horrendous pain and he said a Cyst must have ruptured on my left Ovary causing it to collapse on itself along with the fallopian tube, no wonder I was in so much pain!!. I had 3 large Fibroids on the outside of my Uterus so in the end he took it all away. I will not be allowed any HRT until my 6wk post op check on 101005 in case any remaining Endo he may have missed shrinks and dies oo (no Oestrogen feeding it) so am currently having a few hot flashes especially at night.
Hope your surgery goes well, and a smooth recovery the key word is REST!!! I am doing quite well and I put this down to resting as much as I could the first 2 weeks now starting to do more but still taking care.

Sending lots of hugs to all Sisters facing surgery,
Elaine xx

How old is everyone?

I am 41 and my surgery is on September 28th. I don't have any children and just found out in May about the fibroids and enlarged uterus. It has been a long 4 months though and I can't wait to feel better again.

How old is everyone?

Hi, I'm 39 and the younger women posting are the BEST inspiration for me. I admire but feel for the struggles they go through to have had children and those who are seeking other options while in there 20's- just amazed.
Thanks to all,
Helen
