Progesterone Cream and endo questions

Can OTC Progesterone Cream cause endometriosis to grow back? I had a LAVH in 2017 and have kept my left ovary. I had stage 4 endometriosis, fibroids, and adenomyosis. My surgeon (reproductive endocrinologist) was very skilled and excised all my endo (or felt that she did). I have been pain free ever since. I am 49 now and have started having hot flashes, night sweats, and vaginal dryness just this year. I have never taken any HRT because I kept my ovary, but now I am finding myself wanting to take something to calm down the menopause symptoms. I am scared to take estrogen or any products that act like estrogen, but I would like to try bioidentical Progesterone Cream. Is that safe for those of us who have had endo? I have read that it can convert to estrogen in the body...??? Just wondering if anyone has experience with this after being diagnosed with endometriosis? I REALLY DO NOT want the endo to grow back, but I have heard such good reports of the Progesterone cream helping with menopause symptoms.
