Pre-stage jitters

Today is going by too fast. I'm jittery, hands a bit moist, can't sit down for long. Most everything at home is done. I find myself praying under my breath, "please God, please God, please God..." I just made myself eat a light dinner.

A friend of mine is very shy. I asked him which he would choose: giving speech in front of a big audience or surgery. He chose surgery. Anyways, this nervousness reminds me of pre-stage jitters. I know the show must go on. I just can't wait until the final act, the curtain falls and I'm back in my dressing room waiting for friends to stop by. I know, I know, I'm weird. It's either nervous typing like this or tears!

I wonder if I'll sleep tonight!!!

No, you're not weird, many of us get those pre op jitters. I know that I did but I was surprisingly calm the morning of my surgery.

I hope that you managed to get some rest. I'll be praying for all to go well for you during surgery and recovery.
