Hi to all my sisters-in-waiting! It has been such a relief to be able to read your posts and know that I'm not alone in my nervous anticipation of the big day in the Castle on Jan. 20. I'll be thinking of all of you and hoping we all have the best possible outcomes! Prayers and hugs.

I'm so glad I found this sight. Couldn't find what I was looking for until I found you. I'm also having surgery on January 20,2004. Climbing the walls with worry. I just ate my last solid food before the surgery. Clear liquids only tomorrow. Anyone else out there doing this too? Glad to know others will be undergoing surgery on the same day. I don't feel so alone now!!!! Thanks to all you Jan 20th princesses.

Thank you for the warm wishes! This has been the longest 3 months of my life! Thank you for the immense support from this website, I would of been lost without it.

Best of Luck to all the Jan. 20 Princesses!! You won't believe how soon you will start to feel like your old self!! Take your pain meds as often as you can and rest those first few days and you'll do just fine. Remember...surgery day is the worst and then after that it gets better every day!!

Thank you all for your well wishes. This site has been a huge help to me. I am so thankful I only had to wait two weeks for the surgery. I'm not sure I could have handled any longer.

"Heavenly Father, God of all comfort, grant the L'sIW peace today. Be with them as they prepare for their surgeries. Guide the doctors as they work, keep their minds sharp and their hands steady. Where there is pain grant relief, where there is heartache envelope them with love. You are the great physician father, heal our bodies. We ask this in the name of your sweet son Jesus, amen. "
