Wow you are ready. My Doctor is a oncologist I think that is how it's spelled. He will try the DaVinci method and see what happens. Keep me in your thoughts and prayers and I will also do the same.

Thanks to all of you for all of this information and support! I don't have my hysterectomy date yet, but will be sometime in November, and I have mixed emotions. I'm terrified, but yet I can't wait for the bleeding and pain to go away. I try to keep myself so busy that I don't have time to think about it, but my pain keeps me down sometimes. This is when my mind starts thinking about all the bad things that could happen. I'm so scared I'll die of this cancer or that it has spread throughout my body, and I'm frightened about the complications after surgery.

I too am from IL....just a smaller town north of you I am having very much anxiety with my up coming proceedure coming up this friday. I am looking for relief and to just get to feeling better... good luck on your upcoming surgery also

Good luck girls. I'll keep you all in my prayers. Just got home from Walmart. Wow, did I drop the cash. But, I think I have everything. Got a super soft robe (lucious) as a treat. Let me know how things go, when you are feeling better. Keep in touch!!

I met with the doctor on a Wednesday, had surgery the next Tuesday (6 days later) - had to do pre op paperwork, bowel clean out, get support people, etc - it was so fast, I never had time to get nervous

Hi there Im Hunna i had tah when i was 42 .I just turn 50 and i was very scared wanted to kepp ovary but Dr. said bettre take them now and not worry about cancer later ,I had fiboured .very big ones even my ovary cpould not be seen they we re covered.I went on Hormores for 4 yrs i feel good glad i had surgery i was living with alot of pain good luck to you hugs Hunna

I hope that all of you that are scheduled for surgery soon will have an easy operation and quick recovery. I was very nervous before the surgery but it turned out to be fairly simple and straightforward. I was so glad to have it done. I think we all get real nervous before and then laugh about it later. You are all in my prayers.
