Thank all of you so very much for the warm welcome. I appreciated all the supportive words for all of you.

I'm also relieved to see that I am not the only one who had symptoms of these things for a while before actually realizing something was really wrong. Uktrifle, I am so glad reading my description of the rectocele helped you out. Boy, you better believe my daughter is going to be SO well educated in all of this. If I had known having large babies contributes to this I sure wouldn't have let my doctor make me hold my daughter sitting in my birth canal ready to go for a whole hour while he was trying to get out of surgery and up to my floor. The nurse said she could see her head and was so afraid she was going to end up catching her before the doctor could get there.

I am doing better today than yesterday. The first 24 hours after finding out were really rough. I have breakdowns every now and then still, but overall getting more used to the idea. Seems like every woman I talk to who still has their uterus wants to call me lucky that I'm having mine taken out. My mother is really jealous. LOL She has such horrible fibroids and extremely heavy periods. I'll be all through with periods and she'll still be going at 54. She perimenopausal though. Getting fewer periods per year. I don't know that I consider myself lucky but I won't miss the periods! I try to keep the positive things in mind.

I'm glad to hear see that there are lots of people that are happy with their results. I sure look forward to loosing this pressure, bulging, back aches and shooting pains into my inner thighs!

Thanks again to everybody for the very warm welcome.

~Love to all~
