progesteron dose

I had my hyster. 3 years ago and still learning and fine tuning my hormones. I just got a rx (that I had to request) for progesterone cream to add to my triest and testoserone, but it's for only 3% shouldn't it be at least 5% to do any good?

Hi mabo Not necessarily; the creams tend to build up slowly in the tissues, and in fact the bigger problem with creams is that it's hard to know when you need to take a little break to let the level decrease a little.

JMHO, but I wouldn't worry about the concentration of the cream; I'd give it a try, and give it a couple of weeks to build up... see if it's helping you at all. If it is, you might want to take a few days off every month just so you don't get too much built up in your tissues.

I think I want to go the the gel and have the pharmacy blend it into the Tri-est when I feel comfortabe with the dose. I feel like buttered corn after Iam done lotioning up twice a day. But I won't take a hormone pill again if you gave it to me for free. This is the only way to individualize hormones. Thanks for you responce.
