Wednesday

Hi girls! Down here in Sunny but 'HOT' Florida. Mom's cath went well and she is doing great. Because of the potential to have to drill out the plaque, they went through her groin area so she had to lay on her back for 6+ hours. Not fun. Her back was sore most of the time. They were able to give her Tylenol for it. Stayed with her for several days and binge watched Downton Abbey. She got me hooked on it last summer. I'm now at my sons house visiting and playing with grandbabies. Planning to stay for another couple of weeks so I can go with mom to her follow-up appointment.

Greyown - so sorry to hear about your pups eye issues. He/She is so lucky to have you. We had a cocker spaniel many years ago that went blind from glaucoma - no drops needed. If I remember correctly, the vet used a shot to shrink the eye to make it look normal. He lived another 7 years after that loving to play with his tennis ball. He drove us NUTS with it. Lol.

Great work making things more efficient at work. Glad it's going well for you. I'm certain your evaluation will go well. You're an excellent employee.

Desk - Glad to hear you and Nina are doing well and that things are working out for you with the caretakers. That is a BIG load off your shoulders to no longer have to worry about it so often. So sorry to hear of your mom passing out. Hoping she's doing ok. Too bad about not having permanent help on the weekends. Is this because they don't work weekends or do they rotate employees during that time?

Rita sounds like your camping trip was fun and relaxing! It's nice when everyone involved helps out. Mammoth Cave is on our to do list - maybe next year. We also want to do the Ark Experience in Kentucky. Do you mind sharing the RV park information where you stayed? Would you recommend it to others?

So sorry to hear of your sister with the spinal issues. Praying the PT goes well for her. Sorry too, to hear about your aunt. My daughter in law's mom passed away from a fall with a head injury a couple of years ago. So very unexpected! Praying for your family.

Nirvana - how are you doing/feeling? On the road? Hope you weren't affected by the I-16 closure a couple of weeks ago. It was a nightmare. Took me 12 hours to do an 8 hour drive from the traffic.

Kim - hope all is well with you and your new role. Write when you can.

Hi Cussette!!!

Enjoy the rest of your week.
