TAH: May 5th for my TAH

Well, I finally got the date of May 5th for my TAH surgery. I am a little nervous.

Welome! I think it's perfectly normal to be nervous. My TAH is not until July but I am turning into a bundle of nerves.

Keep reading on here and while I can't say you'll be less nervous, it'll sure help with keeping it reasonable and helping to compile a list of questions to ask your Dr that will help keep the nervousness to a bearable level.

Don't hesitate to ask any questions here that you might have. We're all here to help each other!

You may want to add your surgery date to your profile now that you know its scheduled for May 5. Your feelings of nervousness are completely normal. You have come to the a great site where you will get the support you need. Hang in there.

Hi emjay! Congratulations on getting your date confirmed, it feels great have that in place, doesn't it?

I have surgery on May 11th and I've been waiting over 7 weeks already so trust me, it's WAY better not to have to wait too long! I'm goin' a little bonkers!
