ablation vs hysterectomy

My cousins had this done & haven't had periods for like 4 yrs. I wasn't so lucky. I bleed even heavier after I had it done.

I had the embolization on May 30. I had no problems. I had my period right on schedule and did not experience the clotting like i usually did. My cycle is coming up again next week so I am curious to see what this one will be like. My bloating seems to have went away and i can now fit comfortably in my pants.
I am glad i chose this procedure over having the abdominal hysterectomy.
If after a year i still have complications i can go back and have a less invasive surgery or another embolization. I am happy that I made this choice over the hysterectomy.
