Listen to these ladies!!

Hello ladies! I've just got to say to anyone that's feeling good and feeling like they could go start doing things.....DONT!!!! Listen to the ladies on here. Follow the dos and don'ts posted on here!! Today I am 12 days post op. So my restrictions from my dr were only 2 things. 1. No driving while taking narcotic pain meds and 2. No lifting anything over a jug of milk. Oh wait I lied I forgot about the 2 I got at the hospital. Obviously nothing in the vagina until after post op at 6 weeks and no baths until then. Anyway I had found alot of info about this website on pinterest prior to surgery and took it upon myself to follow the stuff on here. But I was feeling so good and I listened to what my mother had told me. Long story short I was doing way more than I should have according to this website and these wonderful ladies. So the day before yesterday at 10days post op I was at the grocery store ended up hurting. Came home and went to the bathroom and when I wiped I was bleeding lightly which eventually turned a little heavier but still only had blood when wiping, no need for pantyliner even. That continued the rest of that day. Yesterday morning I went to the bathroom when I got up and was still bleeding but I found a stitch on the t.p. as well. Google told me this is normal and so was bleeding at 10 days post op. Well last evening laying in bed I had some vaginal pain and I started thinking maybe I should double check with my dr. Since it was after hrs I sent a my chart message. My drs nurse got back to me this afternoon and said this is very serious and I need to go to the ER today and get checked to see if I popped a stitch. So off to the ER I went. They "think" it was just stitches dissolving as there was not alot of bleeding and no inflammation present. (Now this was an ER dr examining me and reporting his findings to the on call OB.) But now because I was stupid I pretty much am on bed rest for the next week. (Light activity only but lay around and do nothing) I was already so bored and frustrated that I was feeling so good and doing nothing now I got more time doing nothing. My point is these ladies on here know what they are talking about!! When they say take it easy, dont do this or dont do that LISTEN!!! I got lucky but I learned my lesson!! I'm so thankful for the wealth of information on here. Had I not found it, who knows what kind of trouble I'd be in now. My drs restrictions were nothing!! So THANK YOU HYSTERSISTERS!!!
