to the LIW's

I havent seen this mentioned yet but it may have been, but here is a tid bit some other sisters and I have discussed.

When you LIW get home, you hear over and over again take it easy and rest. Good advice.

Now from my experience I'll tell you why. Sure we need to recover, that goes w/out saying.

BUT..........when i was released I still had alot of heavy duty meds in me. I thought i could tackle the world. I was loopy for days and i am sure i did things i should not of done, some i cant even remember.

I am not trying to scare anyone, and do feel i have a valid point here.....BE CAREFUL when you get home. You may feel like a million but remind self "JUST HAD MAJOR SURGERY" cant do that.

I am serious. I wish you each the VERY BEST recovery but when you hear us say rest, drink water, it just isnt to get well, it is to remind you that you feel too good, you may just end up doing too much.
