Lets celebrate =)

I know we are all pretty scared about our upcoming surgeries, but this morning I realized that this is the last time I will have to (and my family) suffer through a week of PMS. It's something positive I will try to focus on.

Re: Lets celebrate =)

That's a good idea, to focus on the positive.

I was struck this am when I opened my last box of tampons that I won't ever pop the seal on a big ol' box of Playtex Super Plus again. It will be such a relief, but I still have to get through this one.

It is a great feeling to walk past that feminine products aisle now! Last month at this time I was suffering through my last period and it is such to great feeling to be free from all that pain and heavy bleeding!!!! I LOVE IT!!!!!

Re: Lets celebrate =)

you have a great approach to this and I admire that and agree. I am counting down the last days until I no longer have to buy period supplies. I am hoping it will only be two more and that's it. I will hear back from my doctors (God-willing) in the next two weeks about a possible surgery date. I can't wait to get that call. So looking forward to it.

Re: Lets celebrate =)

Congrats, I will be in the same boat next week 10/1. Think of all the money you will save, calculate all the money you spend each month and put it in the bank each month for a vacation fund. I think I am going to do that.

Future LOL na na na na na naaaaaaa!!!

Re: Lets celebrate =)

After my surgery I had to wear a pad for 4 weeks, I kept waiting for the day that would finally be over. Well it is now so I am done, done done!!! I think it might take another month or so for it to sink in that I won't have a period again...but I love it!

Re: Lets celebrate =)

I'm two weeks post op and during a short grocery trip with my hubby yesterday we walked by the feminine product isle and I laughed and sang a little song...I don't need you anymore hahahahaha.

Now let's calculate the cost of surgery and see if the next 20 years of pads and tampons cost is higher. Thinking so! My way of making that deductible look a little less expensive.
