She's late

Well, wouldn't you know it as soon as my doc agrees we've tried every other method to get rid of my cramps/pain and schedules me for a hyst, guess who's late? Yep, Aunt Flo is 4 days late. I've been late 3 times in my life and I was pregnant each time.

I know she's probably just building up for a horrible visit this month so I've started taking the Ponstel every 6 hours to hopefully head off the cramps.

Where's the ?

Oh wow! That must Suck. I think that's how it usually works out, right? I'm never on time and this month I was. Guess it knew it was the last.

Gatorfan ~ could you be pregnant? If not, don't worry about it. I missed my last period before my hyst all together. Like you, I only missed my period 3 times in my life ... each of my 3 pregnancies. So I was freaked as well when I missed my last period, but it never did show. Oh well ... Good Riddens!

This could have been my post a little over a year ago. I knew that eventually a hyst was in my future, but at one appt my dr noticed a cyst in my uterus and said that we needed to schedule a biopsy asap and then decide when I wanted to go ahead with hyst. I completely freaked out! I was due for AF that week and she never showed. I had been late 3x, all three times I ended up with a kiddo to show for it. Two days before my biopsy they sent me for bloodwork *just in case* because I had a negative pregnancy test in the office --- you guessed it, pregnant! At least I got to live without the pain and heavy bleeding from the adeno for 9 months. We scheduled the hyst when the baby was 3 months old b/c of the adeno and complications from c-section...

And of course....she was 4 days late and I went into the OR with her...goodbye and good riddens AF!

Hmmmm I don't know if I should hope for Aunt Flo for you or not? In the meantime go find that chocolate!

Well, I definitely want her to show up! I just sent my "baby" off to college this week.

I'm hoping the stress of having my oldest son in Iraq and then sending youngest son to college is what's delaying her appearance and NOT the other reason.

Oh man, now that'd be a life changing event.

Maybe she's just scared to show her face because she knows you're tired of her.

My mother missed my brother's high school graduation because she was in labor with me.


But yours is probably just stress.

I would guess stress. I was a week late and started the day before my surgery. Cut her off early.
