Valium...what a relief!

Ok -I have been so good with keeping my emotions in check, talking through them, and I'm not even afraid of "going under" again. I guess no matter how hard I try to focus on the positive outcome my subconscious is telling me something different. So after having both 'ends' not working right I called my doc for some relief. She called in valium to the pharmacy. I took one and I have to tell you- it is great! I don't feel like I'm going to have to live in the bathroom for the next day and a half due to vomiting or the other. I felt wierd having to call, but I am so glad I did- it's not easy to prepare yourself (mentally) for major surgery. I am going to try to stay focused on the positive- no more cancer, no more periods, no more pain!

Thanks to all my sisters on this site for making the unbearable bearable

I am glad that you have found some relief! We try to be so "strong," which is such a bunch of baloney. You did a good thing for your mind and body.

Good luck, honey.

Valium...what a relief!

Hi Cincy,

I just drank my first Phospho-soda boy tasted awful to think that i have to take it again at 8:00pm. Do you have to take it twice as well? I also have to have a fleet enema before i leave for the castle. Make sure you drink lots of liquids and nothing red or purple. Hoping you best of luck tomorrow, and a speedy recovery. I'm still taking the xanax it's helping somewhat.

Warmest of Regards,

Good luck ladies!!! Just a piece of advice. Take your valium to the castle. I ended up having ab muscle spasms post surgery and it was the only thing that took them away. My dr. prescribed them for me. Make sure you let your dr. know. you are almost there.

Valium...what a relief!

Hey Cincy-Good luck. I'm just over 2 weeks post op and doing great. My doc just gave me the go ahead to get back on my indoor bike. You'll do fine and the before is way harder than surgery and recovery. By the way I used to live in Cincy-what part are you from?? I lived in Fairfield Township and had a great (and very cute )OB/GYN.
