Itchy Clitoris (2012)

Hi All

I had my TVH over two years ago (kept ovaries) all seems to be OK, I can still have the big "O" (external only but then I have always been like this) however, lately I m having a few problems with my clitoris (sorry if TMI), it is soooo itchy and sometimes gets swolen, does anyone know why this is happening?

Anyone? am I alone :-(

You could have a yeast infection!! The last two times that I had a yeast infection, that was my only symptom. The times before that, it was itching in my vagina. Go get checked for a yeast infection!!

Its been going on for a while now, I have tried meds for a yeast infection twice and it does not help, also, its only the clitoris and not the vagina that is itchy! Its driving me insane!

I've had this before. It is very irritating. I quit wearing liners. Sometimes that causes mine. I use Era and downy. No problems thre. Good luck!

I experience the same thing with a itchy clitoris and have tried antibiotics and they only work short term and then I end up with my clitoris itchy again. I sure could use a solutions. I wear cotton underwear and they are white. HELP!

After switching to white cotton underwear, your next step would be to consider what you're using to wash it. The skin down there can be very sensitive, and it's generally recommended that you stick to hypoallergenic detergents for anything that touches that area; I use Tide Free, which is free of dyes and fragrances, and dermatologist-recommended for sensitive skin issues.
