Re: Lupus and Hyst

I do not have Lupus, but I have Fibromyalgia and Mitochondrial Disease (which there are strains that show Lupus signs) and am also worried about recovery. MD (mitochondrial disease though I have mitochondrial myopathy) are slow healers and hurt a lot more than someone without problems.
My surgery is Thursday, I am hoping I can come back and tell you it wasn't as bad as I thought! =) Good luck to you!

Re: Lupus and Hyst

Hey there Jennifer, I have lupus (for atleast 8 years now) and I will be having a Hyst on December 15th. I am nervous about a few things but this will be my 5th surgery in 2 years and some surgeries have been horrible (even lap ones in comparison to more complex ones) I think it's just me. It's hit or miss!

Wishing you the very best and please keep us posted. Feel free to PM me anytime with any questions or if you just want to complain
