prolapse not on ultrasound report

I've been told by 2 medical professionals now that I have a prolapsed uterus. I even felt it myself before I made the appointment to see the first doctor. Both recommended a hysterectomy. I was sent for ultrasounds and I have an appointment with a GYN in 2 weeks.

So I got the ultrasound report and a disc today. It says everything is pretty much 'normal' in there! There is no mention of prolapse, and says my uterus is normal size and position. She had a hard time finding an ovary and I was in serious pain while she looked around. It said that one had scattered follicles and also prominent follicle in left adnexa. I don't know what that means. Follicles are normal, right?

I'm in a great deal of pain all month long and have every symptom on the list for post tubal ligation syndrome. I'm not wishing for something to be wrong with me but I'm a facts kind of person and just need explanations.

Have you spoken to your doctor about the apparent discrepancy?

Re: prolapse not on ultrasound report

I was sent to an independent radiologist and never met the person, just had a sonographer do the exam. I am the world's most impatient person and this 2 weeks is gonna kill me. Especially now that I'm ovulating and the back pain is coming back.
