I have it too. My cycles vary from 26-29 days, very heavy and very painful. Dr. Says it's like endometriosis, but on the inside if the uterus. The tissue invades the uterine wall and prevents it from contracting properly, thus more bleeding. It mimics all the symptoms of fibroids, so it's hard to diagnose. The good thing is, it's not cancer. Ablation may be a testament option, as are hormones and even an IUD. Ask your doctor more questions. If you're like me, the more I know, the less I fret.
