Post myomectomy, feel very alone...

Hi Kitty,

I was doing a search to find information to give my girlfriend who is now in hospital after undergoing a myomectomy on Friday and I came across your post.

I do hope you are feeling much better now.

Take care of yourself.

Slow down

Hello Ms. Kitty

Stop, breath and smile and do it again. You are welcomed and your not alone. Take care of you first and foremost. It's your body and no one knows your body the way you do. If you feel like you've hurt yourself ignore the on call dr and go straight to the er. It's better to know then to wait and find out later and its worse. Your causing more damage to your body that can be long term later. We only get one and we need to do all we can to take care of it.

My suggestion is that you let your sister come in and take care of you and when she has to leave and your still not better then you buy a ticket to go back with her or head home to Mom or family where your sure that you can be taken care of.

I'm new to this site as well but these are some of the most caring women, they all have great wisdom to share and understanding of the situation. Keep reading and keep posting and you'll feel the care and love pouring from each of them. Just know that we are super women but your not a SuperWoman and Clark Kent isn't in your family blood line. Slow down and take care of your self. One day at a time.

Post myomectomy, feel very alone...

Hi, Kitty,

I had a myomectomy in 2004 after finding out my options here on this web site. The hyster sisters have always made me feel like one of them, even though I still have my uterus. We're all in this together.

I hope things have improved for you, especially in regards to your husband. Mine had to leave town the day after I came home from the hospital, leaving me on the couch with two teens and a dog.

Take care,
Sousette
