A reason to get checked out!
a quick story,
I was trying to ignore the prolapses and the bleeding for sometime. Every time I thought about going to the doctor's I would put it off as I hate being examined ' down there'.
Finally the bleeding got too bad one month and I went , to a female doctor as my normal male one was busy. She didnt like what she saw and sent me to a female gyn, who said," hmmm dont like the look of this" a d & c is in order. Had that done and lo and behold I had ( as well as all the rest, very early displasia)
Now alone this really is no biggie.. but here is the kicker. My mum died of uterine cancer at the young age of 52 after never ever getting any check ups done until the cancer had invaded her liver and was an obvious swelling!! I strongly maintain that my mother made me go when I did, so I would not suffer the way she did, and as needlessly as she did.
Heres some more creepy/wonderful stuff. The gynie I saw was a stand in for the one I was supposed to be seeing. The one I saw happens to be a lecturerer at one of the nicer universities here in NSW with ENDOMETRIAL CANCER as her area of speciality. I wasn't even supposed to be going to her!!
Mum really ensured I had what I needed when i needed it. So thats a strong indication to me that we will have the help we need when we need it.
Rambled a bit, sorry....... But as a pretty non religious person for the most, this is my idea of thanking the powers for the help!

yes, angels really do exist
Well, someone is certainly looking out for you! I'm so glad that you got the medical attention you obviously needed, and in good time too.
I do believe that our loved ones who have passed on sometimes help us out. No way to explain some things, otherwise!

A reason to get checked out!
And my mom was with me in the hospital .. .even though she passed away two years ago. The morning after surgery I "woke up" and she was standing by my bed, telling me how to move and scoot out of the bed so it wouldn't hurt. Then she leaned over and chuckled 'We're tough old birds!"
Then I woke up for real and it was looking at exactly what I was looking at before (laying the same way, seeing the same things), except my mom wasn't there. I truly think she was with me.
And you know what? When they came in and took the catheter out later that morning, I moved out of bed just the way my mom had told me to and it didn't hurt!
