Don't forget........

with the thanksgiving holiday approaching to get your shopping done before surgery. Driving restrictions run about two weeks. Besides doing the pre-op stuff today I went shopping with my sister, and we got the turkey and fixings ahead of time so we will have our normal thanksgiving dinner. (she prefers to cook, anyways). We made sure to stock up on anything we might need during the two weeks I am homebound. She doesn't drive, so if we run out of something we may be stuck. The turkeys were a good price, 6.95 a turkey.

Don't forget........

Mz,

I agree with the shopping in advance even tho I might not get my surgery as suchulde the doctor to me to do everything like it will happen on the 20th (she is fighting hard to make it so and has appealed for my already since the insuracne company is given me fits - but enough about that). I did a big shopping trip not only for Thanksgiving but because my DH is horrible at it and hates doing it. So I tried to make sure stuff was stocked so he just had to pick up the basics like milk and bread.

My surgery in in Dec and I'm plaining in doing most of my prep work (cooking) and freezing everything, so my son can fix it, it will be his first meal he'll do almost by himself....

Don't forget........

I hadn't thought much about the holiday in Dec., but I may need to plan ahead, wouldn't want to stress hubby out with the joys of holiday shopping. -LOL
