Thank you so much for the well wishes. Anxiety is starting to set in now with my to-do list.
I am so thankful for this website and the articles. They have helped me tremendously with all of the planning, and what to pack for the hospital.
For my other hystersister's having surgery tomorrow, I am thinking of you, and praying for a very successful surgery. We got this!

Hang in there! Today is the day the anxieties of the “what if’s” can become overwhelming. Take a walk, drink your water and just breath. All the chores won’t get done today so pick the ones that will help you relax when you return home. Make sure you have lose fitting clothes and larger underwear. I had to order dresses after surgery which helped. The “swelly belly” caught me by surprise. I actually found my husbands comfy shorts and underwear worked the best. Lay on your couch or bed today. Look around. Does something need attending before you set in for weeks of healing? Remind yourself that you’ve got this!
Will be thinking of you today and tomorrow. Good luck!

Re: Best Wishes to our July 10 Princesses

I hear ya about the anxiety. My surgery was on a Monday, and I kept busy through the weekend to keep my mind off of it. By the time Sunday evening came, my nerves were jumpy, but more with the anticipation of "Let's get this SHOW on the ROAD, people!" Morning of the surgery, the only thing that spooked me was my husband's driving .
