Newbie from Carson, Wa

Just wondering if there actual live support groups anywhere?

Im fairly new here so I really dont know . I just wanted to say welcome. There is alot of info on here though but not sure about live chat.

Is there any way to look for local support within my community, I’ve tried searching online and all that comes up is online groups which is fine, but it might be nice to have a group locally, even within the Portland, Or. or Vancouver, Wa. Area?

You could ask your doctor, ask at the hospital where you had your surgery or contact other local hospitals and clinics. Someone is bound to know if such a support group exists in your area. Though it's not the same as in person support, you'll be able to share with those who had surgery the same week as you on this thread and I posted other links for you when I replied to you in the Introduce Yourself forum. I hope you've had the chance to check them out.
