Doing the happy dance
I just found out that my pre-op visit, originally scheduled for tomorrow, had been changed to a phone consultation. It only took 10 minutes on the phone - with no blood work involved  . The only prep instruction I received was "nothing by mouth after midnight." No liguid diet, no enama, no bowel prep, no nothing! She told me to eat as much of anything as I wanted up until midnight. I was really (but pleasantly) surprised after hearing everyone else pre-op prep instruction on here.

Wow thats great new's! Lucky you, today is my liquid diet day, nothing to eat or drink after 3am, and magnesium citrate at noon and 6pm (happy not to do the enema) Hope you have a speedy recovery, I will see you on the post op side.

I'm jealous! I have to do a liquid diet and bowel prep. Not to mention some wierd antibacterial wipes that I have to "bathe" with.
