Jenren,

I had the same side effects and they lasted as long as I was on the shot. When I stopped the shot they stopped.

You may want to call your doctor and see if there is something they can give you.

help with zoladex / lupron

Hi Jenren,

I did (3) months of lupron shots prior to my LSH.

I have to agree 100% with Mrs. Doolittle. My lupron side effects lasted as long as I was on the shots also. I also had hot flashes and night sweats since lupron causes temporary chemical menopause.

You might ask your Dr. about ~add-back therapy~. From what I understand, it can re-introduce hormones into your system and maybe help with the side effects.

Best wishes and hang in there!!!

Mary

Check with your dr. When I got my shot of lupron, the doc said that if I had symptoms that were just unbearable that she could give me a booster shot of estrogen as I recall. My symptoms were milder than yours, mostly very foggy thinking. Good luck.

Lupron

Hello,
I have had two shots so far next week my third...
Yes after my first shot I felt nausea.. actually I wound up with blotches on my face .. Headaches definitely my doctor gave me Loratab pain killers.. they work.. of coarse...
But I have to tell you , I am feeling like I do not want to go and get my third shot beacuse this past week my eyes have been puffy when I wake up and lines came out of no where I am 33 years old and I did not have lines under my eyes before not sure if it is coincidence but my eyes getting puffy and a rash on my face is uncomfortable I called my doctor he said it was okay just another side effect possiblly getting to much estrogen but wants me to continue .. the 6 months.. it is a hard treatment sometime I feel like I am out of it .. and I sleep a lot... thats been my experiences.. hope this helped.. good luck.. Dawn
