TVH: Has anyone had an attempted TVH and ended up with TAH

Hi I was just wondering if anyone has had an attempted TVH and ended up with a TAH? Just wondering what to expect if that happens (I had a tubal ligation 20 years ago, so if adhesions, this could happen). Thank you!

I do not know what the odds are. It is so dependent on many factors, including your personal situation, your doctors skills and comfort level, and many unpredictable factors.

We do have lots of women on this site. So hopefully ones that had a conversion chance will see this post and respond.

I'm a little curious too. Mine is supposed to be vaginal but I have a pretty enlarged urerus & didn't want morcellation unless it's bagged so if they can't get it out whole or get it in a bag for morcellation they may need to do an abdominal incision to get that sucker out. Fingers crossed they can do it vaginally because the healing is faster & pain is a bit less from what my doctor says.
