Any michigan sisters?

We got about 2 inches last night it is real windy and of course very cold.
Im having a lot of aching and swelly belly I go back to work full time on monday not really looking forward to going but I guess I must Ive been park time all last week.
How are you feeling ? How long does all the aching last or are you still having it?

Its been windy here since last night,,,and I've really had enough of it and the snow. I hope it warms up Up there soon....Im going to Macinac Island for Mothers Day and I'd like it if the lilacs could be blooming!

I still get achey and swollen, and my scar/incision still gets kinda sore at times....especially after working out with my trainer (which I just did for the first time last week).
I also find that I get tired every now and then. I guess healing takes ALOT of time!

How nice to be going to the island,I was lucky as a child my grandfather worked for the grand hotel he picked the luggage up from the ferry dock for guests and took it to the hotel etc.. we got to go and visit every couple weeks.And ride with him back and forth ,Fun as a kid lol. I have not been there for years.

I've never been to the island and I"m really looking forward to it. There is a quilting/rug hooking class going on there...(I'm a quilter but taking the rug hooking class). I'm hoping to have some time to explore the island a bit.

It's snowing here in South Eastern Lower Mi...we are expecting 2 inches. It's pretty....but really, I've had enough of winter and want to get out in my garden!

Detroit metro area...2 inches so far. Isn't it supposed to be spring?

Hi Nancy46! I live in Grand Blanc, MI (suburb outside of Flint) but my family is from Kalkaska. My parents place is in Sigma. My parents owned the Blimpie's restaurant in Kalkaska before my mom passed away in 2004. I am 39 and had my hysterectomy on 1/4/11. Still having some bladder trouble but everything else seems to be ok. How are you doing at this point?

Terilynn, I rember blimpies. I hope your bladder problems clear up soon. Wed will mark 12 weeks doing real good swelly belly is turning into fat belly, need to start watching what I eat gained 5pounds, UGH! Tomorrow night into wed another storm freezing rain and 4-8 inches possible. Where di spring go. Trout festival starts wed too!

I have gained a bit of weight since my surgery too...but I have been eating terrible too. Stress eating gets me every time! It's been snowing down here and we have a dusting. They are calling for 1-3 inches today....yuck!! I forgot that Trout festival is so early...I only remember a couple of years that it wasn't freezing for it! LOL
