I should be asleep....

I guess I am not as well as I thought I was earlier today- yesterday

I have a fever again, headache, sore throat, and I can't sleep

While I was hoping someone was here to talk to, I guess it's a good thing someone is getting rest...

I need to go write some substitute lesson plans, another day of no pay for me...

Not alone

Hi, I went in for my 5-6 week check up. He didnt even do an internal exam, said from other complications and what not he wasnt going to check me for another 3 weeks!! My pain is still there and stiches have started to fall out and have a slight tear from the bottom of vagina to anus. Thought I would be up and about doing great by now. Had a total vaginal rebuild and am wishing it would just feel better. Still have my overaries, but am getting hot flashes and sweating so so bad at night. Good luck I guess it just takes us longer then some to heal. Cheers!

Hi there slawler21
We had our ops on same day. I too had a setback and have been on antibiotics the past week which made me feel like I was back at the beginning of recovery. It is so demoralising. i have appointment with doc for 6 week check up on Weds. Not sure what to expect with that. But I am just taking each day as it comes and trying not to get too down about the delay in recovery. Yes, we are all different. Wishing you continued steady healing. Did you tell your doc about the hot flashes?
Best wishes

Back to work full days for me and I kind of remind myself of that joke about someone having a really bad headache so they hit themselves on the thumb with a hammer.... huh... the headache kind of fades into the background then! Cause my butt is SORE!!!! IF I have to go home early today it'll be because I ca'nt SIT for a full day. OUCH!!! Best of luck to all... I WISH I could work in my garden but until the ice and snow are gone (we're told next weekend should be in the 60's) I'll be dreaming of flowers, feeding the birds and continuing to get myself back into life SLOWLY!!!

Happy Monday to everyone,I still can't sleep, my butt still hurts from the 2 injections, I am sore from my stupidity (shoveling), bladder does what it wants, still taking my antibiotic, and I have to go back to the hospital for blood work today. It is GREAT to hear of those doing so well, going back to work, having no complications, you are awesome. My Dd is home on spring break, so she will help me this week.I have a list a mile long of errands that just need to be done, so I guess I will get started soon, and see how far I can get.To those of you off to work today be careful and have a nice day, to those not feeling so well, like me, take it easy, and rest. My Dd is driving me and doing all the leg work, less for me to do.Talk to you soon.

Good Morning all!
Well it is cold - yet again here in Buffalo, we have been getting snow too here but just a few inches not like Pocono, our "Snowbelts" got hit pretty good over the last several days, but they are calling for more snow here in the city today - a few more inches. I am hoping it is gone before I go back to work!!

Singingmad I hope your feeling better and not to sore. MIL is too much for me - I bet you can't wait for next weekend!!

Kappel I was picturing you (though I've never seen you) up at the microphone holding your belly with one hand and a glass of ??? with the other, singing your heart out!!!?? Hope you had fun Karaokeing (sic?)!!

Alabama I am so glad your fever is finally going, going, gone...it will take a few days to recover from that bug, I thought the aches and pains were indescribable, I truly felt like I got run over twice!

Guineapigs....I can't believe you did all that, I hope your okay, that is probably the worst thing you could have done...I hope your recovering!

Bagpuss I am glad to see your starting to think ahead and looking forward to the things you not so long ago dreaded!! I hope the infection is clearing up?

Pocono I hope your feeling better too, don't hesitate to call the Dr, the longer you wait.....well you know! You don't sound like a broken record, we are intersted and we all care, DON'T GET DISCOURAGED.

bookah, like you I am testing myself to see what I can do too, I have never been so aware of all my actions! I actually made myself stary awake for the whole day yesterday! Did alot of straigtening up etc.

PRINCESS 48 it did sound as if you were saying good-bye...I am glad your staying!!

daisydimple, the swelly belly is the most annoying thing isn't it and I am so glad your progressing, defiinitely not a walk in the park, I talked to someone from work the other day and they said enjoy the break etc. etc., like this was actually FUN??!

Moose let us know how your appt with dr goes, you seem to have really bounced back to normal GREAT for you!!

FF1962 how are you now? Did everything work out ok? I hope your doing ok and no real damage was done, please let us know how your doing.

Catnapper sounds as if your on your way too!!! Major remodeling?!! I was laughing so hard!! Let us know what the Dr says on Thurs - WE CARE, not like those rats!

Rodswife thats actually a good piece of information, the women in this group are definitely "adventurous", so listen up ladies - especially those with the more invasive surgeries!!

Peachy Pie CONGRATULATIONS on the smooth recovery! Please let us know what dr says!

rn55 - go get em girl! We do care and I have been wondering how your doing, I think of all of you as my friends and you can always come here or email me, I too have a small circle of friends, I am ever so grateful for all of you!!

SLAWLER 21, be grateful he didn't go in there..really it sounds as if you are definitely "tender" right now, did you tell him about the slight tear? did he notice? I supposedly still have my ovaries but HOT FLASHES CONSTANTLY. I know it sounds crazy but start keeping a journal or a list about your problems, hopefully you will be able to cross some out before you go back, if there is anything we can help you with I'm sure the sisters here will be glad to give input, don't get yourself down on top of it, it will get better...

megapixel glad your progressing a bit better now too, please let us know what your dr says ..happy healing!

singingmad...good luck!!! I so hope your day goes well, and stay out of the garden for now.. (see rodswife)!!

Whew, thats alot of typing, I covered all I could!!

I for the first time in days am feeling quite good, I did have alot of bleeding after my appt Wed, and my belly did not go down for 3 days I am hoping today is the beginning of better days....!!

See you all later!

Good morning everyone. Good luck to those returning to work. For those of you like me hope we have a better day today. My good news is all of sudden yesterday afternoon the burning and pulling and real bad pain just stopped. Is that weird? I do know my incision has shrunk by 1 1/2 inches. My dh measured it so could that have been the pulling and burning. Today I feel a little pulling but nothing like it was so I am going to hope for the best and think that I am truly recovering. I don't go back until next Monday for my check up which will put me at 6 1/2 weeks.

Guineaspig38 - Even with your dd helping don't overdo it. Take your own advice and take it easy today and rest in between errands.

Talk to everyone later. Have a great day!!

Hugs to all.

triffin,
I seen your post about the Chantix, OMG isn't it great? I have been smoking for the same amount of time and have not had any since Feb 10th, I am so proud of myself, quite frankly with the chantix it hasn't been much of a battle! Congrats to you and I know we can do it!
