Well, I'd been doing really well until yesterday. I have a pain, hard to describe where it is. Halfway between my bikini-line incision and the left side one, kinda where my left ovary is. It is just tender there. I can't tell if I've popped a stitch or two, or pulled something, or if it is just normal healing. It could even be my ovary being angry with me for evicting it's pals. *sigh* So I am taking it even easier than I have been, just lying around now - no more puttering, bored half out of my mind.

I know what you mean. I overdid it on Monday, got my staples out then went grocery shopping. I paid for it Tuesday sharp annoying pains in my sides and upper thigh/groin. I have spent the last 2 days just laying around and I feel alot better today. My DH picked up a abdominal surgical binder for me at the pharmacy where I work last night. It sure feels good. It's helping with the gas also. I am BORED. I started a puzzle and everyonce and awhile I sit down at the table and put a little more together. It's kinda been the highlight of my day.

Honey I am so sorry you are having a migraine on top of all this. I had one two days post op at the hospital and they gave me a good shot of imitrex for that. I pray your headache goes away. That is the worse to have at a time like this. Hopefully if you can get some sleep you will feel better. Let us know how you are feeling.

I seem to enjoy food right now too.....since my husband, friends and children have been making it. I do feel bad that I can't cook because I am the one who ALWAYS does.

I also wish that I could clean up and stuff..my DH is doing the best he can though. I am greatful for that.
Does anyone feel extremely bored with TV?

hi alll -
got staples out today -- I think we counted 32 total wow -- I did n't think I could hold so much metal!! LOL!!!
i weighed in at the office while there -- down 8 pounds -- course I have no idea how much of that was mister pain in my uterus fibroid but hey 8 pounds is 8 pounds.

a little tender around the incision-- some drainage -- they think maybe infection -- keeping an eye on it --
went to the old wallymart yesterday -- (found some great material for princesess' that I am making a tummy binder with!!!! )
today is rest and take care of me day.

the house is a mess -- is starting to get to me -- but have a friend coming to clean tomoorow and fix dinner for me and hubby ( IT IS dh BIRTHDAY ) so that will be nice.

as for TV -- boring -- no cable at my house -- and only so much springer that one can watch -- guess some one has a more pathetic life than I do -- only reason worth watching it -- it makes me laugh -- weirdos!!!!!!!!!!!

OFF TO TAKE A NAP -- HOPE EVERYONE FEELING GREAT.

YES!!!! There is only so much Food Network and Discovery Channel you can watch. I have a decent cable package, but there is still NOTHING on during the day. I am not a soap watcher and as entertaining as Springer, Montel and Judge Judy are, I simply cannot handle watching them. Waaaaaay too much drama!!

If I didn't have an internet connection and a big stack of books, I'd have gone crazy by now.

Staples out today, hardly any scabbing and incision shows only a little pink here & there dr was very impressed.
Gas Pains are better, Muscle spasm pain has decreased immensely, except if I turn my right leg just the right way and I get a intense cramp/stabbing pain that just about knocks me out.. then a little throb for awhile.

I am so glad to be 1 week on the other side, so thankful that the fear of everything was way worse then what actually happens. anyways Try the court shows on Fox, or the old game shows..they are quite amusing!

Post op day 6.
This morning I was feeling pretty good so I thought I'd put some new knobs on dd dresser-big mistake (no kidding).
one of the drawers was stuck so I unstuck it, all the while telling myself to stop and let dh do it. UGH!

I'm feeling it now! abdomen and bladder both are not happy with me.

As for tv..... I'm addicted to American Princess, tired of both HGTV and food tv. didn't even watch it today. Browsed Ebay for some fall clothes but decided not to buy anything as I 'm not sure how long the Swelly Belly will last. I also read the reviews on Tar get. com for their shoes-yep I'm bored!!

Think it'll be a Vicodin night.

I learned my lesson!!
