The evil dh had his laptop today at work so I didn't get to post. My new AC adapter for MY laptop should be here tomorrow so no more having to be nice to the dh so I can use his laptop.

I didn't take the Alli yesterday or today. Yesterday was awful. I was so sick. I actually slept 'til 11:30 this morning! Today I was much better but I'm still a little concerned about an infection in that open wound I still have. It's not getting worse, just sore. I'll see the doc on Thursday.

Today was fairly uneventful. Cleaned up my kitchen, family room, and entry way. I also went to the grocery store. Did some paperwork for school. Balanced my checkbook. Crocheted. That's it.

Tomorrow will be eight weeks postop for me. I can't beleive I'm still on medical leave.

Hope all is well with everyone.....I'm thinking since we're getting less and less action on our thread everyone is busy getting back to "normal" life.

I miss you guys!!!!

Tunacat- Hang in there and just think of the experience you are gaining in your lousy job, hopefully you will be able to help someone in the future with what you are learning.

JesusCrew-Sounds like you definitely need to see the doc. Strange I feel a need to have a colonoscopy also. Am not going through all that you are tho. I feel for you. Please do get in to see the Dr as soon as you can.

Idabug- wondering what the acupuncture is helping you with ?

Denise-Glad to see you back. Everyone was concerned about you.

Has anyone ever heard of Dr Mona Lisa Schulz? she has a website and does a radio program on the web on hayhouseradio.com

One of her shows was April 30, 2008: Walk This Way: The Lower Back, Hip, and Hormone Connection
Did you start to have hip and lower back pain as soon as your hormones started to go awry?

The shows are archived and you can go back and listen to them.

hope everyone rests well and those back to work have a good day.

g'nite

Morning gals

If school calls me at noontime it means I flunked the Baby Bar Exam and will not graduate. Time is standing still here as I wait...

Assuming I passed, I will take a few weeks off of studying, enjoy a graduation party, and then rev up my brain once again for the bar exam in July.

I am sorry some of us are still dealing with pain- I have a follow up appointment tomorrow to see if my UTI is cleared up and to discuss my lower left side pain... hopefully it is just minor scar tissue that I could work out by exercise and massage.

I return to work on Wednesday (sigh) and although I dread the stupid comments (co-worker from planet stupid who said her mom was back at work in week) I know they think I am on a spa vacation here.... I really need my regular paycheck at this point so no matter how exhausted I am I have to go back.

Michelle, good luck on your job- I have lots of suits, want to borrow one for your interview? Just drive on up to Boston!

Booklvr:

I have inflammatory arthritis so that is how it all began, however the benefits for me have been hormone balancing, wound healing, chronic pain, energy work and overall wellbeing to name a few. It has been the thing that keeps me really healthy and deals with pain that I have daily. I go once monthly when I dont have a flare up and more often if I do.

I have been to a couple of acupuncturists, one was sweet and kind and it didnt do a thing. My regular girl is agressive with her treatments and understands western medicine as well so it is perfect.

thanks for asking!

HI everyone,
Well it has been 7 weeks for me today and I am feel really great. I have been exercising this past week (treadmill 30min a day) and have been really watching my diet, actually I have been writing it in a journal and it sure does help. I have lost 3 lbs this week and it is great, I really worked hard at it so I am pleased.
We should be closing escrow today on the house and then we will be moving. It is about 3 miles away from this house closer to the grandaughter, and the grandson & dad will be renting this house from us for while.
I have only one week left to stay out of work and it is sad but yet I am really looking forward to getting back. There is an old saying "when the cat is away the mice will play" I have been hearing horible stuff that is going on but can't do a thing about it since I am not there, I just have to hit it head on when I get back and don't let on to them how I heard about it. (DH) he works out there too.
Take care and I will check back later.

Hi ladies
I had a great weekend. I feel alittle tired but that is because we stayed up late having fun and I was really active (a good thing).

I think I have another infection. I'm thinking maybe I should call my Dr. I feel the pressure & pain again. Along with the bathroom urgancy and my right kidney is hurting still. Isn't it strange I've had so many infections? Someone asked if they left a sponge inside me. Now I'm scared! I wonder if I'm just being a BIG baby or if I do have an infection again (my 5th infection).

TunaCat-congratulations!
Denise-Glad to hear your ok

Shelly, good luck. They gave me some strong stuff for my UTI because it was hanging on a long time, so I have Cipro- 5 days worth.

Anouncement:

I passed, have officiallly earned a Juris Doctorate degree, and now just gotta pass a bar exam in some state in order to practice my magic ; )
