Lupron and Bipolar Disorder

Hi, I looked for a way to search and see if there are any threads about this topic, but so far any search option has escaped my failing eyes! )

I had my first Lupron shot last week. My doc is hoping that if we shut down the ovarian hormones and my mania breaks, then a hysterectomy might be really helpful for me.

I'm 45 years old. If I do go with a hysterectomy I have questions like should I let her take my cervix or not.

I have a LOT of questions or would very much like to hear from people who have bipolar and/or have used Lupron for a medical menopause, and your experience.
