I am still so nervous. I am packing my bag as I sit here and type this. It's feeling more real than ever and that scares me even more.

I am in the same boat, going in next week :-( all I can do is send you big virtual hugs. Remember to breathe deep and try to focus on other things to keep calm. I found a neat mindfulness exercise that forces you to put yourself in the moment and distract your thoughts, if you have time look up mindfulness and the five senses exercise. There are actually lots of different things you can do but that one is my favorite.

Thank you. The past two days I have had a lot of digestive upset, but I think that is from nerves and stress. I have a 4.5 yo kiddo who I am really nervous about leaving at home with her daddy since she is special needs and we have been having a ton of trouble with her behavior. The two of them fight like cats and dogs. I know this is what needs to be done to keep me healthy and I have come to terms with never being able to have kids of my own again. It was a real power struggle in my head before it was set in stone. I don't have much of a physical support group here at home so it is really nice to be able to say these things to people who understand what I am feeling and going through.

I hope your surgery goes well. I will say a prayer for you! Thank you for the suggestion to get my mid off things. I have been trying to keep busy but it just isn't working much. I had a dream the other night that I went into surgery only to come out and still have everything because the doc got in there and saw nothing wrong with anything so decided not to perform the surgery. It honestly felt so real that I cried when I woke up at first.

I am so glad that I found the HysterSister website, as it has truly been a lifesaver for me. It has definitely kept me form going insane over this whole surgery. Thank you again!
