4 week post oophorectomy follow up appointment: Frustrated and feeling discouraged

Hi Ladies, I went to my 4-week follow-up appointment today. I found out that I had a 13 cm or 5 inch all around ovarian serous cystadenofibroma tumor on my ovary which was removed laparoscopically, thankfully wasn't cancerous. I talked to her about this dimple or what I call my second belly button where it was sewen up and how it still hurts and wakes me up. She didn't know why but gave me some meds for nerve pain. I am feeling frustrated because I feel like I shouldn't be having pain like this anymore. Does anyone else have unexplainable pain later in their recovery?

Your profile says you your surgery in 2005. , did you have another surgery since then?

Hello, the first surgery I had my uterus and cervix removed, and 4 weeks ago I had my ovaries and tubes removed.

I was still in intense pain and constant discomfort at 4 weeks out. My surgery was July 10, 2020 and I'm still recovering. Back to work and finally feeling better but there hasn't been a moment since July 10th that I'm not acutely aware I had major surgery. I'm sorry you are still in pain.
