Surprising things that helped BIG TIME!

There have been a couple of things that I didn't know I needed until I had them and thought I would share for anyone who's interested:

The first is a small weighted lap blanket a friend gave me before my surgery. It is grain filled and not very heavy but the little bit of weight on my belly felt amazing. It was on me constantly the first two weeks I was hope and intermittently since then. The one my friend got me is called DreamTime Aromatherapy Warm Embrace Body Wrap (a simple Google search will bring it up).

The second thing is a grabber/reacher. I saw that others had recommended but I actually didn't think about it much. My sister was with me the first couple of days I was home from the hospital but I live alone. She ordered one for me and it has been PERFECT. I don't know if I'm just a klutz but I drop something at least daily and the instinct to just bend down and pick it up is strong. The reacher helps me to get what I need without having to bend and be in pain.

So those are my two big tips. The body wrap thingy was the biggest surprise for me and I definitely say get a grabber or reacher.
