Da Vinci scheduled for May 25

Hi ladies- after a year and a half of being miserable my surgery is finally scheduled. I have a large fibroid, thickened uterine lining, and a ovarian cyst with sepsis and debris. Dr. Said she will remove uterus and look at ovary to decide if that needs to be taken out. I am concerned about the ovary because I have been sick for over a year with severe fatigue, terrible leg and back pain and shortness of breath with pain in one of my breasts. I have had a chest CT, and breast MRI. Which all came out clear. They finally discovered I have anemia. My concern is if they chop up my ovary with the Da Vinci will it affect the pathology? I want to be sure I do not have ovarian cancer. Thank you for any imput (:

I had a DaVinci and had cancer. The procedure can be done with a possible/ probable cancer diagnosis. They may not have to cut the ovary or uterus. If your doctor had any concerns he/ she would choose a different procedure. Good luck and I hope you feel better on the other side.
