night before surgery insomnia

I really should be asleep, but I cant. I have to be up at 7 to get a shower and get the kids to the neighbors then to the hospital at 9am. I really need to sleep and I cant!

Re: night before surgery insomnia

I understand how you feel I couldn't sleep the night before either. I finally decided I would just lie in bed and try to get what rest I could. I hope everything goes well with your surgery. I already feel so much better and I am only two weeks post op. I hope your recovery is as uneventful as mine. Looking forward to seeing you on the other side.

I really hope it's uneventful and normal. I go in at 9 and should be in the OR at 11am and done in 3 hours or so. I'm just glad I get to "sleep" ha.

I'm feeling the same way and thinking of baking a cake. That should keep me busy for awhile. I check into the hospital in 12 hours.
